How replayable are the scenarios (against the AI)?

Does the AI have different starting positions or is this static?
Does the AI play out a given scenario the same everytime or is it dynamic?

ie, I'm mainly a solely player. So will replaying a scenario be new everytime or pretty much identical?

thanks!

Aside from the smallest scenarios, which have less variation, I find they play out differently each time. The scenario also determines how much setup variability there is, but even for those where the setup on Turn 1 is pre-defined, what happens after that varies considerably. There are 27 scenarios in total, including the point buy scenario where you can choose different forces by purchasing from a point "budget" each time and the vast majority are very replayable. I've played most scenarios at least ten times at this point and only the smaller ones are predictable, though I'm quite a bit better at them now than I was when I first started.

Also, if you enjoy playing both sides, they play very differently for Germans vs. Soviets.

There is also a full map and scenario editor.

Regards,

- Erik

The scenarios pretty much play out differently playing the AI. I haven't tried it but if I played one scenario a hundred times and always moved the same units the same way you would probably get some repetition on the AI's side.
