The A.I produced a design with no energy collection.The policy has the energy collection for military ships ticked.

Another strange bug.I found a Kiadian independant planet with just Kiadians.It suddenly spammed a Dhayut population when I explored it again.Maybe this is linked to the bombarded planets becoming lost colony's when the system is explored again.

What happened when you sent a ship there?

I've seen this sort of thing when a "lost colony" is generated by an event at the same location as an existing independent colony. From what I've seen, lost colonies generated by bombardment (defect) are usually very low population. 2b population is about normal for one that's generated "correctly".

Yes my colony ship went there and then it became a lost colony event.This event is causing issues.

Sounds like the fix would be for the "lost colony" event to check that the planet isn't already an independent colony and that the colony does not have an unexplored ruin of "sleeping race" type.

It seems to currently check that it isn't colonized by a faction/empire, but not for independents/sleeping. I seem to recall having a sleeping race awoken at the same time as finding a lost colony - but I'm not 100% certain. Seems to be a simple fix. Hopefully Elliot will address it soon.

Falokis,

It would probably be easier for Elliot if you put crash logs into a new thread, and include what you were doing when you encountered it - loading a game, saving, etc.

ASHBERY76 has put two defects in one thread, which might be troublesome for Elliot to sift through.
