Will this work on a Kindle Fire?

Conquest!, developed by Illustrious Software and The Lordz Games Studio, is a turn-based game where the objective is to conquer up to 5 opposing players (either AI players or other human players) by defeating their armies and capturing their lands - to do this you will need to unite all of your lands, build up a powerful economy, and raise armies to defend the homeland and to take lands from your enemies. The game is set in medieval times and has a number of game modes available.

Conquest ! Medieval Realms, will be packed with hours and hours of clever fun-packed, brain-bending strategy gaming.

Will this work on a Kindle Fire?

Post by Missouri_Rebel »

I have the pc version and still play quite a bit when I want a light game.

I was hoping it worked on a Kindle Fire.

Can one have it on an Android phone and a Fire at the same time?

Thanks,
mo reb

Mo,
If you sync your phone and fire on the same computer I would think you could.

No, I don't think that'd work. The fire does not work with Google Play.

I side loaded the game on my Kindle Fire and it appears to work well. The only thing I can't find is a way to save a game in progress.

Can you explain the side-loading process to us less savvy people?

First, it requires that you have another Android device (I.E. a smartphone) with the game installed. Secondly it requires that you have the Astro app installed. Using Astro you backup the game. Still using Astro you navigate to the backup file and long press on it and choose Send. I then select my Dropbox account as the destination. Once transferred I then access Dropbox from my Kindle and install.

I think Matrix plans to offer a way to download directly from them.

None of us have one and so I have no idea unfortunately. If it works let us know how you did it!

Actually I have been told 2 of the beta testers were on the Fire so it definitely works - the issue would be getting it on to the fire which is different for a released build and a beta one. It's all a bit new to us so still working this stuff out!

Conquest does work on the Kindle Fire. I have it running on mine using the technique I described above.
