Status: offline 		....does anyone else have an abnormal number of senior officers assigned to Commonwealth Squadrons? It seems ever since I started using versions 1.01.08r9 I've found squadrons with AComs, & GpCpts as commanders. I also have numerous squadrons with 2-3 GpCpts & WCdrs flying as regular pilots.

I've only seen this in RAF/RAAF/RNZAF/RCAF/RIAF squadrons and not in US, Dutch or Chinese units.

Status: offline 		Should clarify, the game I'm playing is a mod I made to "Ironman" and was restarted under the version mentioned after a bonehead move on my part. Don't remember seeing this issue in the previous game.

Status: offline 		No, I noticed this and reported it well over a year ago. Some of my squadrons are just loaded with Group Captains and Wing Commanders. Has no impact on the game though.

Status: offline 		AFAIK its just an oddity, Its not having any effect on my current PBEM.

I assume pilots get promotions based on missions and exp so heavy training to exp 70 then lots of combat ops in hurricanes has led to a lot of my units having silly numbers of high ranking pilots. However i usually just ignore it.

You can ease your concerns about future pension liabilities by playing Scenario #2, or a similar mod.

No pilots = no pensions.

These pilots would have been rotated through Home leave, OTU, Bond Drives etc etc,

In WITPAE,

We drive them into the gound.
