Status: offline 		I'm thinking about dipping my toes back into the world of WitPAE. My hard drive crashed about 6 months ago and I lost all my chrome from my previous ventures into WitPAE. I was browsing the mod section and noticed that the patches are new and a must have . But I can't really find what I'm looking for.

I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction for the newest chrome out there for the game. Did the 'actual size' mod (forgot the mods real name) for ships get completed? What are some good A/C tops for the Japs and Allies? What about report screens and that stuff? Are any of the old downloading sites still up?

Any help in mod names or direct links would greatly be appreciated .

'actual size' mod - i think you want DaBigBabe 'C' (DBB_C), which has 'reduced capacity' for cargo ships & a revised map w/ revised stacking limits, kind of a bear to get it all installed & not suitable for AI play. here's a link:

hmm, gotta edit this post - the 1st link is to the latest 'beta', which is not the same as the latest 'patch'. although at time of writing, i believe they're identical (1108r9).

Insignia's galore, Regs-Cathartes rotating plane art, planeside and top replacements

There's also an Alternate LCU icon mod which differentiates the nationalities on the Allied side so you get orange buttons for Dutch LCUs, planes and ships or different shades of green for the Aussies and NZ forces. I can't find the link to that one.

That was one of my projects, but had to remove it from the download site due to size limitations.
The latest official update expanded the unit icons to include all colors for all nationalities.
So now players can do it themselves without a hassle.

Status: offline 		For starters, the Allied and Japanese unit patches (literally thousands of them!), and the Cathartes plane tops are compulsory. Don't ask, just get them and install them. You will not be disappointed.

You'll have to create an [AlliedPatch] and [JapPatch] folder inside the [ART] directory. From there you just unzip the images you downloaded into your newly created folders. You'll notice that the downloaded Allied patches come in three gruops, ACUs, LCUs, and SHPs. The images in all three groups are unzipped into the same [AlliedPatch] folder. Obviously, the Japanese patches go to the [JapPatch] folder.
