Just a quick question. When forming Guard Corps the rules state that you can have 1 division not being Guards, and still get the Guard Corps bonus.
The question is, if there a negative side to not use 3 GD divisions for the GD Corps? Is there a different TOE?
I appreciate that the morale of the divisions used to form the Corps will determine its overall starting morale upon creation but I have several high morale non GD infantry divisions so this shoould not be a problem.

Any tips? Thanks!

Guards Corps (or any other corps for that matter) have their own ToE table, so it doesn't matter what you used to form them in the long run. Using 3 divisions (any two of which have to be guards) will result in a over-strength corps. Using 2 divisions (both have to be guards I believe) and a brigade, you have a understrength corps.

I personally would use semi-trash units as the third component for a Guards corp. Why? for all the good moral divisions you don't use, you improve the overall quality (moral wise) of your army. Any unit that is part of a Guard corp will quickly increase moral (or the Guards corp itself) due in part to its own inherent bonus and the fact that as a Guards infantry corps, it isn't likely to lose in the combat department very often unless it is understrength, etc.
