More votes have been flooding into ABHQ by the BUCKETLOAD!!!

After bradfordkay and Chickenboy's votes have been added to the mix we have the following situation:

Izabella has regained the lead again, but Ms Bouquet is not out of it yet....

GROUP A

Izabella Scorupco 4 - (Warspite, fodder, th1207, Chickenboy)
Gemma Arterton 3 - (Empire101, Dixie, redcoat)
Carole Bouquet 2 - (Orm, bradfordkay)

Jane pulls away from her pursuers; it's hers to lose in Group B

GROUP B

Jane Seymour 6 - (Warspite, Orm, th1207, redcoat, bradfordkay, Chickenboy)
Alison Doody 2 - (fodder, Dixie)
Britt Ekland 1 - (Empire101)

Olga, surely the favourite to win the whole competition now

GROUP C

Olga Kurylenko 8 - (Warspite, Empire101, fodder, th1207, Dixie, redcoat, bradfordkay, Chickenboy)
Barbara Bach 1 - (Orm)
Claudine Auger 0

Group D remains tight, but what a turnaround! Eva comes from plum last to take the lead!

GROUP D

Eva Green 4 - (th1207, Dixie, bradfordkay, Chickenboy)
Diana Rigg 3 - (Warspite, Orm, redcoat)
Daniella Bianchi 2 - (Empire101, fodder)

I finally watched Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace on Sunday. I thought I would take a look at who I am voting for in the flesh so to speak.

They were actually very entertaining films - especially Casino Royale - and Eva Green looked rather gorgeous too.

TO ALL NON-AMERICANS

Are you feeling a tad jealous that you do not have the chance to vote today? Yes? Well fear not. You DO have the chance to vote too - and not just once, but FOUR times, yes FOUR times. Yes I'm talking to you radic, Josh, wodin, British Exil, neilster and anyone else I've missed off.

Let's be honest, who would you rather give one too* Romney/Obama or Olga, Eva, Jane etc?

*Your vote of course

Well, I would have voted to give one (my vote of course) to any of those fine ladies in preference to the other choices. But, as an American, I was excluded from this opportunity.

Now that we got that Presidential mess sorted out for the time being, what's the latest and greatest with this infinitely more important election here, Warspite1?

I shall update the scores tonight. Remember folks - although I'm sure you all have this in your diaries and don't need any reminder - the draw for the semi-finals takes place tomorrow.

Okay just a few hours to go before the polls are closed and the draw for the Semi-Finals are made.

Welcome DampSquib - and thank-you for voting . After taking Mr Squib's votes and those of reg113 into account, we have the following situation:

Unless we get some more votes in the next few hours it looks like Izabella has just held off the challenge of Ms Arterton in Group A

GROUP A

Izabella Scorupco 5 - (Warspite, fodder, th1207, Chickenboy, reg113)
Gemma Arterton 4 - (Empire101, Dixie, redcoat, Dampsquib)
Carole Bouquet 2 - (Orm, bradfordkay)

Jane looks to have sown up Group B

GROUP B

Jane Seymour 7 - (Warspite, Orm, th1207, redcoat, bradfordkay, Chickenboy, DampSquib)
Alison Doody 2 - (fodder, Dixie)
Britt Ekland 2 - (Empire101, reg113)

Olga continues to rack up a fine score in Group C - almost double figures now

GROUP C

Olga Kurylenko 9 - (Warspite, Empire101, fodder, th1207, Dixie, redcoat, bradfordkay, Chickenboy, DampSquib)
Barbara Bach 2 - (Orm, reg113)
Claudine Auger 0

Group D remains tight, but the ladies from the 60's have split the vote allowing Eva to remain out in front.

GROUP D

Eva Green 5 - (th1207, Dixie, bradfordkay, Chickenboy, DampSquib)
Diana Rigg 3 - (Warspite, Orm, redcoat)
Daniella Bianchi 3 - (Empire101, fodder, reg113)

...and so the quarter-finals draw to a close. Ladies and Gentlemen the polls are now officially closed and we have our four confirmed semi-finalists:

Izabella Scorupco (Poland)
Jane Seymour (United Kingdom)
Olga Kurylenko (France)
Eva Green (France)

There was the excitement of a re-count in Group A due to the closeness of the voting, but the results were confirmed and I am pleased to say there will be no legal challenge to the outcome from Ms Arterton's legal peeps.

The semi-finals will be drawn in good old fashioned FA Cup styleeee. Four numbered balls will be placed into a container and drawn randomly by two guests of ABHQ.

I am pleased to report that, unlike with the FA Cup draw, I will not be employing the services of a couple of boring suits from the Football Association or dull ex-footballers

Instead, the invitations went out for a couple of ladies from a neutral country to do the deed. I am pleased to report that Jennifer Lawrence and Katy Perry have accepted the honour (well you would wouldn't you?) are with me at the moment, and ready to make the draw.

In time honoured style, the draw will be made totally in the nude, yes girls that includes you.

And Ms Perry will draw the first ball.....

And first out we have, representing France, Ms Eva Green.

The 32-year old Parisien, the daughter of a Swedish Father and French Algerian mother, played Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale and was a bad bond girl who ultimately kills herself - but earlier in the film saves James Bond so she's not all bad. Anyway, who cares about that - her beauty speaks for itself:

Oh... thats unfortunate - this should have been the final..

Eva will face Olga Kurylenko, the 33-year old Ukrainian born beauty who recently became a French citizen. She played a good Bond girl, Camille, in Quantum of Solace.

..and its Jane Seymour OBE, or Joyce Penelope Wihelmina Frankenburg as she was originally known . Ms Seymour, born in Hayes, west London to a British father and Dutch mother, is now 61-years old. She played Solitare, a bad girl, who did the right thing and turned good, in Live and Let Die.

..it is of course, Izabella Scorupco. Another semi-finalist with a Swedish connection, Ms Scorupco, now 42, was born in Bialystok, Poland but moved to Sweden when she was 1-year old. She played Natalya Simonova, a good Bond girl in GoldenEye.

A big thank-you to Jen and Katy - yes you can put your clothes back on now.

So here we have confirmation of the Semi-Final:

Eva Green vs Olga Kurylenko
Jane Seymour vs Izabella Scorupco

Who will be voted officially* THE best Bond girl of all time? Only you can decide....

Thank you Warspite1 for that exciting draw of balls. May I suggest that Jennifer Lawrence would be the next Bond Girl?

The votes from Sweden are as follows.
In semi-final one we vote for Ms Eva Green.
And in the second semi-final we vote for... HEY! Guys! Stop fighting! We must vote now! We are live. Excuse me, there was some trouble counting the votes but it is all in order now. I decided that Sweden votes for Jane Seymour.

Back to you Warspite1.

Thank-you Orm and also thanks to the Swedish voters.

Good work in getting the vote counters back under control there. There is simply no place for that kind of mindless violence in this competition.

Anyways... after the Swedish votes have been added into the mix the scores are:

Eva Green (2) vs Olga Kurylenko (0)
Jane Seymour (2) Izabella Scorupco (0)
