No - thank-you natester old chap. The widespread scoring I think is reflective of the quality here - and yet so far no points for Cole, Binnar or Timoshenko!!!!!

I suspect that thanks to you the voters, this contest will be seen as being THE definitive works on female beauty EVER. In fact I suspect that the great Ambroses' son will be writing a book about it; something like:

The Australian Beauties Contest 2012 (How Allison Stokke stopped being the butt of old jokes) W. Ambrose (2012) Greatarse Publishing Co.

Allison
Rosie (that pic did it, not sure why)
Yulia (easy, not sure why that one from Corrie has go this far)
Hepburn (the other two aren't a patch on class)
Selma (bad pick of Cheryl so Selma though none are my type really)
Kate (no contest)

Edit to say just seen the votes so far, people got no taste.

Jones 3 Connelly 1 Kidman 1

Group 3

I suspect that somehow, some way, the sov FBs from the WitE forums are trying to influence this contest. Remember, for a sov, the ends always justify the means!

Group 1

Allison Stokke, Keiko Kitagawa and Sophie Marceau!! Well, thats a tough way to open the round, but as I 've said before, there are going to be no easy groups from here on in. La Marceau has definitely paid for her poor showing in the last round and the play-off.

Not Allison's best picture. Me thinks a certain lime-enhanced MC is trying to steer votes...

Try this on for size if you're vascillating.

Allison Stokke gets my vote in this group. Make it my TWO votes.

Jennifer Connelly, Nicole Kidman and Rosie Jones!! Another stonking group. Who do you vote for? Jennifer in her youth? Nicole anytime, or Rosie and her Baps? Well this group is going to take some beating for talent.

Rosie and her baps! x2 (or would it be x4)?

Its England vs India vs The Ukraine! No idea which way this will go: Michelle Keegan, Sashi Naidoo and Yulia Timoshenko go head to head...nice!

I know things are tough in England at the moment, but do your so-called royalty have to wear torn rags? Really?

Sashi (again) x2.

And its another mix of old, middle and young with Selma Hayek taking on Cheryl Cole and Phoebe Cates. Yet another difficult one to call!

Selma x2.

The final three - but clearly not last and least, in fact, I think this is the toughest group.

Group 6

Its Unnar, against Jenna Louise and, despite appearing in TMTSNBN, Kate has made it through too!!

Very nice one of Kate. For putting up with TMTSNBN, she gets my vote here though. x2.

Funny how a few years ago she was hated for punching out a black female toilet cleaner in a club and is called a racist. Then she gets beaten up and cheated on by her black (remember the racist slurs....PR..ahem) idiot football player and everyone loves her. Oh what a fickle world we live in, when good looks can colour our opinions of someone.

Hi Cheryl,

I don't know how to break it to you, but I'll be (kaff kaff) straight in my dealings with you.

Listen, miss-the reason you're not going to get any votes is because of that stupid tattoo in the middle of your back as well as that one semi-band on your right leg, love. Do yourself a favor, then? Electrocautery removal. If you need someone to hold your hand and provide succor through the process, I'm sure that warspite1 will be able to help.

It's an impressive start for young Miss Jones in group 2. Meanwhile Hayek has stormed into an early lead, almost from nowhere, much to the delight of the Mexican audience. Although you have to say that the Australians will be disappointed to find Isla struggling in group three despite being hotly tipped by some to take the title.

Obviously the Geordie nation will be devastated to find Cheryl trailing with 0 points. Perhaps the accent has proven to be a hurdle too far? William Hill have also slashed the odds of Allison Stokke winning her group down to 2/1. Coming next, an interview with Harry Redknapp through his car window...

People have been pestering me all day to find out what happens after this latest round. Well, wonder no more!

The 6 group winners plus two unlucky losers go into the last 8 (that's 6+2 = 8 nate25....got that?......waiting ....yes? Use your fingers if necessary ......got that yet?...... good, I'll continue ).

The last 8 is where it all gets serious; no more unlucky losers, no groups, no seedings. Its just a simple, straightforward, quarter-final draw, with the names pulled out of the hat, a la the FA Cup. Instead of "Number 32" - "Bolton Wanderers - will play -" "Number 16" "Northampton Town". Instead its "Number 44DD" "Rosie Jones - will play" etc etc.

If you want to see some real girl on girl, then stay tuned. The one with the most votes in each match goes though to the semi-final.

Thereafter, same applies for the last four. The winners of each semi-final go through to the final, while the 3rd/4th place play-off awaits the unlucky losers.

Once all four placings are known, the results are sent to the United Nations, the heads of state of every country in the world, and all the major media companies. Such is the import of this contest, that here on in, only the winner may be known as the most beautiful woman in the world. No one may use that term again without it referring to the winner of this competition.

For the voters - yes the folks that have made this possible - we will all be receiving nobel prizes for the advancement of learing pathetically at beautiful women (and Mollie Sugden).

Gents - it doesn't get more important than this.....
