For the next round - as per Ormster's idea - the draw will be made live in a sort of World Cup styleeee i.e. it will be an overly long, drawn-out saga involving balls, and rotating drums and stuff. The only difference is that it won't be from FIFA HQ in Switzerland or wherever they hang out nowadays, but here in good old Londinium.

Stay-tuned - it will be really exciting

I'd say give the stragglers the weekend to vote and then move into play-off season.

I need to do a little seeding here...ahem, any way, I have not voted in certain categories(Forgive a double vote, it is not intentional.)

Here you go:

Monica Belluci (It)

Cheryl Cole (UK)

Sophie Marceau (Fr)

Also, I do not see our Hyacinth.

These are the likely top seeds i.e. those who polled most votes. as a result they will receive top seeding, You will notice that Alison Stokke is not here. As she had no competition she will be in Pot 2. I do not think any of the top seeds will want to face her......

As fot Hyacinth - and any others with low scores in the preliminary round - they are not certain of making the final i.e. if a lady won her category with 2 votes and another came second with 3, then I MAY choose to go with the runner-up. I will make a decision once we know the final scores. Not exactly a flood of votes overnight was there?

My last votes go to:

Mila Kunis, Natalie Wood, Yulia Volodymyrivna Tymoshenko, Jenna Louise Coleman

In the 'queens' category I abstain since I do not recognize any of the nominees as a queen of Sweden.

Yes - if you get to between 5,000 and 10,000 posts you get to meet the rich and famous, hang out in Monaco - you know the sort of thing.

Only trouble is once you get over 10,000 you become old hat and boring and you end up lonely and sad - don't you CB?

......... All find my company scintillating, my witty banter stimulating and my ramblings on the esoterica of tide levels on Palau positively riveting.

Warspite1

Wow - after almost 50-years on this planet I finally find someone to share in what is perhaps my all time favourite subject of all time!!

I studied Tide Level Esoterica (Palau and Environs) at Oxbridge University in Uttoxeter back in the early 80's. Where did you study?

Just so you know, I have been following the tides for Koror for the next week. Tell me, what's your favourite? Personally I really dig Low Tide tomorrow - 2.9ft man - wicked!! Listen CB tell me when you're free and we can hook up on the phone. Can't wait to chat.

Nice tide porn ya got there, Warspite1. My favorite? The infamous -8.7 from 1957. Wow. Seems like only yesterday...

Don't worry about parusski's lack of appreciation. In my own >10,000 post way, I've learned to politely excuse the ramblings of philistine pig-ignorance wherever it manifests. I choose not to utilize those learnings here.

Ah yes, Hyperenlargedandemboldenedquestionmarkitism is now a recognized medical complaint. I think the treatment is a choclate fudge sundae.

And I agree with Parusski. The lovely Jenny most certianly gets my vote.
Best wishes,
Steve

When in life is the answer not a chocolate fudge sundae shunwick old chap?

Didn't think you English sorts went in for all that extravagance. I'd have thought that plain vanilla, lukewarm-so as not to offend those with cold sensitive teeth-would be more your style.

Warspite1

Yeah - thought that might rock your world. Sadly not old enough to remember the '57 -8.7 - but obviously heard and read lots about it. Have you read Ambroses' blockbuster novel - Palau Tide Porn (1960) CRA Publishing?

Yes, I got the taste for it when I worked as a packer for the Fudge Company many years ago
