AHEM!

Mr. Warspite1, sir, where is the evidence to support your claims on Boys AT vs. Boyes AT?

Ormster - three for you here. I know you like the style of music for this first one at least. Tell me what you think. I hadn't realised it was originally by the Smiths.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwDVHT8I7YA

These second two I posted a few days ago on the music thread. Don't know if you tried them out. They are both covers, the first is a cover of Where is my Mind - a song that you said you liked a while ago. The second is a cover of a Eurythmics song from the early 80's. They are all sung by the actress Emily Browning and come from the film Sucker Punch.

nate25 don't know if this is your bag, but I would encourage you to give them a go. I have been playing little else for the last week - absolutely fantastic

I couldn't believe Asleep was a Smiths song. Apparently it was a B-side to one of their singles but never appeared on an album. The words are clearly a reference to suicide so its a real wrist slitter, but no less brilliant for that

It's a real killer. Love the song and the movie.

Nate, less than 70 posts to the big 1,000. How do you plan to celebrate? How about a weekend in Monaco to coincide with the Grand Prix?

Ahhh.... I've always loved the French Riviera, so many fond memories...

Yeah, right. I wish I was a jet-setter like you, W1. Fancy office somewhere on Threadneedle St., The Warspite family pew at St. Peter's,...

We can only marvel at the cosmopolitan man that is W1.

Me too. Say where did you get your profile pic? I always wanted to get an "Iowa" class battleship as mine. I don't even see a place to upload a profile pic on here.

Indeed you can. I am thinking of buying a golf club at the weekend - I wonder how much St Andrews costs?

If you are interested in Monaco let me know and I will have the motor yacht berthed in the harbour. I will invite a few friends along if that is okay? I think Jessica Alba is free that weekend.

I had to have total help with mine, as I can barely type, let alone do complicated things like that.

I don't know... An uncouth cousin from across the pond roaming free in Monaco?

What would your friends say? You'd be oastra.. ostra.. kicked out of your club on Monday.

I hope that's not true Nate, I am a big San Diego Charger fan also, while he left that team awhile ago, I still have several #55 SD shirts.

Unfortunately, it is true:

Junior Seau found dead in apparent suicide

Thanks Parusski, this is sad news indeed. All I got was an AP ping that he was found dead.

Lordy. As if having to deal with a Vol, a Hawkeye, and a Tiger wasn't enough.

Now I have to deal with the Tide, too.
