Status: offline 		Now, I'm not American, but those Germans (and Dutch too) that travel north to Scandinavia seem to me to be obsessed with elks, wolfs and the nature in general. Though I guess those are overwhelmingly city-dwellers from the Ruhr and other places where industry and urbanisation are widespread.

Status: offline 		I once had 5 minute discussion with a German woman in German, despite the fact that my German language skills were straight from "Commando Comics" of childhood.

Jawohl! Achtung! Genau! Keine ahnung!

It took a while for her to say in English: "You didn't understand a word what I said, did you?"
