Stealth Components

So I've been wondering, does anyone use these? I tried them once but it didn't really have any apparent advantages against the AI and the component size of 60 isn't really selling it to me either, but maybe there's some ingenious use for them I haven't thought of?

I agree, they are too big, so I have actually never used them...

They can be useful on lightly armed monitoring station built deep in an enemy
empire's territory. They work best if you can keep there effectiveness at 50%
or more (thus why 'lightly armed')
Shields are useless in "The Briar Patch"...
