Have a penetration value of 0. Are they any use in the game* at all?

* I am well aware they were useless in real life.

They have an effect value of 0, therefore they are useless. I tried a test with a Japan CV equipped only with AA rocket and not a single round was fired. Do not waste time in upgrading your CVs.

But don't you also get extra 25mm AA guns free with every outfit of rockets?

In Alabama you can get a free 9mm with every full boggie hunting outfit from Bass Pro Shop.

What about a reverse final countdown and they get SA-14s?

The Japanese did claim a Liberator, apparently shot down with a large-caliber Type 3 shell. I don't know if it's been confirmed or not.

guess those posts above will have the thread locked. As ppl usually say, don't feed the trolls. Know how hard it is at times but this then locks threads.

The '0' effect does not impact their use as AAA device.
However, the one-shot ammo value lowers the chance that they will engage/fire at attacking planes.
