I think this usage refers to a column in a Combat Results Table, but I don't see one in the manual or elsewhere.

And I don't understand why a report shows:

Column 3
Attacker Eff Stregth 6.21
Defender eff Strength 1.00


Shouldn't this be column 6?

It suppose to show 6th column.

the CRTs are in the consts.ini files within every scenario folder.

They are apparently working differently. Is the defender number a percentage and the attacker strength points?

The defender is in percentage, and the attacker is multiplying the defender's percentage.

Ah. so that at 2:1 in a battle of attrition, the attacker still as a 4/6 advantage?
makes sense.

Is there an error in the Odds7-1 Attacker losses

Odds7to1 = 0.0125;0;0.05;0.1;0.15;0.2

shouldn't the 0 above be 0.025 ?

It is the same in all the Grand Campaign and Fall Weiss, probably the others but I haven't checked them.

Trying to put together a Quick CRT showing average results at each odds level.

Am I right in assuming that both the attacker and defender losses are based on the strength of the defender ?

i.e. an attack against a 10 strength defender at 5-1 odds with a 5 dice roll (results defender loss 80 / attacker loss 0.2) would result in the defender loosing 8 strength and the attacker loosing 1.6 strength.

Also is the attacker loss split between multiple attackers (I've been assuming this is the case) or applied in full to each attacker ?

EDIT - answered my own question by reading the manual 6.5.3 pretty much sums up what I was trying to compile.
