What situation causes the timer to increase during battle?

When a player captures a VL after all VLs were previously in possession of an opposing player, and the 2-minute timer was triggered?

I checked that out before I posted the question to see if there were two situations where the timer increased but the "two minute countdown" after taking the last VL with less than 2 mins on the timer doesnt increase it to 2.

HINT - its also the only situation wbere you can lose your last man and the battle wont end.

Im guessing its when the 7 seconds gets added after a bridge is blown

Yup, the timer resets to 10 secs when a bridge blows regardless of whether there is 1 hour or 1 second left when that happens, or whether every last defender (or attacker) was killed in the detonation.

10 seconds is just long enough to make you realise you didnt make it to the VL's ! I have seen it a few too many times.....
