Has anyone else noticed this guy? Many games ago while filtering leaders by qualities in the CR, I was exited to find a new 9 morale Russian general. Deflation followed quickly, however, as I noted his other spectacularly bad attributes. I declined to offer him a command. Subsequently, it occured that his abnormally high morale might compensate for other deficiencies and in my current game, I gave him a cavalry corps (mech 2) with Southern Front. His first attack was a success. What might he achieve with infantry (inf 3)? With a division under his wing another victory followed and he was promoted. After eventual defeat at Odessa and a rest, I thought I'd try him with an an army on a not too important sector. Now a general-leytenant he was cheap to assign. With very limited resources, he's actually done quite well. As of the end of December 1941, his tally is 8 victories and 13 defeats. I'm pleased I took the risk of using him and am curious to see how his 'career' develops. Imagine what he could achieve with an initiative rating of..... 4? Muaha ha ha
