I am getting a no destination set error when trying to move LCU's into some hexes. Has anybody else seen this? I am getting real frustrated at not being able to move some of my LCU's.

I get that error when I try and set LCUs destinations that are illegal. Is this in Strategic mode?

Cliff,

Same thing happened to me a while back. Press W to see the "hex ownership". Might be the problem.

Dan, no my units are in either combat or move modes. But each time I have had that problem there had been a battle in that hex the previous turn.

Joc, I am not sure where hex ownership comes into play.

There is something in the rules about hexside ownership. I have some allied units first move then retreat into a hex that had a Japanese unit already in it. First one allied unit moved into the hex then the balance retreated into it. I could not move out of that hex, all the hexsides were owned by the Japanese. When the final battle took place all the Allied units surrendered.

If all of the hex sides are owned by your opponent, you can not retreat or move from that hex. You would have to move a unit into the hex to "claim ownership" of a hex side.
