From mid 1944US patrol aircraft reduce in numbers considerable being replaced with medium or heavy bombers yet the US is still churning out seaplane tenders (last one is due in May 45). These ships are no longer needed in fact you can do without a lot of those you already have. Is there another use for them? One question that I've never seen asked is 'Do seaplane tenders work in anyway with land aircraft'.

Seaplane tenders don't support land aircrafts.

If there's no seaplanes, I guess you can use them as cargo ships? In 1945 allies are probably short of cargo ships...
