Just wanted to give my feedback on March 1942 under 1.06 compared to 1.05.

The world did not come to an end.

I could obviously make fewer attacks - probably took back 100 or so hexes, compared to over 300 under 1.05. I Could not replicate the pockets that I made under 1.05, and the Sovs felt much less fragile.

IMHO the "fix" is perfectly acceptable, and Axis players that plan and prepare can achieve decent results. If the Soviet doesn't prepare well (as happened in my 1.05 game), then bad things can still happen to them.
