Logged on this morning and was going to take a look at how exciting and heated one of the threads may have gotten. It was gone.

Does something have to get particlarly offensive or derogatory to cause removal instead of just being locked up? Could it just be the type of topic? Will we see more of a removal policy in general rather than a lock up?

Just curious, this is not a complaint at all. I believe such decisions are the right of the forum host and proper for them to do as they see fit. It can certainly make sense as just locking a thread still leaves the material in question viewable. It could be an interesting discussion however, at least until it gets out of hand.

Never said I was. But that paticular thread had no place here. It was going to go political. aka nuclear. And I suspect that's why you put it up. Because you knew it would.

Slaakman,

This is not the first time you've violated the forum policy on political threads. Personal attacks are also not welcome here.

You have a two week ban, please e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com in two weeks to confirm that you will follow the forum rules and your access will be reinstated.

To everyone else, we almost always lock threads rather than delete them. This one was an unusual case as it was very likely to go "nuclear" if left on the forum, based on past experience.

Regards,

- Erik
