Status: offline 		If I wanted to be a paying beta-tester I wouldn't have bought the game. We were told 1.01 should be out the beginning of this week. When can we expect to see it?

Status: offline 		What's your problem? 1.0 was 100% playable, stable, fun. 1.1 will improve that, and has been available for several weeks. There have not been many bug reports for 1.1, so it's not like you had to make any effort as a 'paid playtester.'

Matrix has got queue for games and patches released by them and we just need to stay in the line.

Funny. I played steadily after 1.0 was released. Cannot recall experiencing even one bug, other than an occasional freeze on multiplayer startup.

There were lots of suggestions for changes, but not complaints about bugs.

Status: offline 		I have been in the software 'biz' for a while and its just about a given that dates don't get met. I for one would prefer to get the best guess for a release rather than no information at all (the usual response when dates are known not to be certain. I have seen relatively few bugs in this game. REMEMBER game balance and design flaws are NOT bugs and there is a lot of uncertainty regarding what exactly is the 'right' design. I am not certain of the exact relationships between the players (Slitherine Matrix Wasteland) but anytime you get more than three people involved it starts to get a bit bureaucratic (not always a bad thing as organizational structure is a requirement for any significant endeavor) At any rate no need to flame Darkstar One too harshly (well maybe just a little)he asked a legitimate question just a bit undiplomatic in tone.

Doomtrader on the other hand gave us the best information he had at the time and from what I remember from last week he said things like 'soon' and expected 'next week' not "1400 GMT Monday, 20 Feb".... Its clear he is not in control of the release process and is sharing what he knows. (BTW thanks)

Status: offline 		I started a few games with 1.0, saw a list of changes was proposed and decided to wait for the "big" 1.01 patch so as not to relearn the game (sorry - WITE patches have slightly soured me). I downloaded the beta but for some reason it would not run properly and deleted and reloaded 1.0 and have been patiently waiting for the finall 1.01 patch.

My question is, will it be a patch or do we have to completely reinstall the game like the beta (I believe it was 500mg file)?

Status: offline 		Whats eating u being so of to people? I also playing the game alot and stoped because of different matters as russia war entry and free air units for England(ai) for example.
Also hoping that the patch will come so I could enjoy my game I bought for my food money ;).
Most expensive game for me so far this year. Hoping iit not become a dust collector.
Keep up the good work developers, u still got my support.

Status: offline 		Guys the delay is all on our end, not Wastelands Interactive. We have a number of issues and are understaffed at the moment for various reasons.

We're in the process of recruiting and the staff that were off are back in the office. We have around 10 updates we need to get out to people and are working our way through as fast as we can but we're struggling to keep up.

All we can do is aplogise and assure you we'll get to it as soon as possible.

Status: offline 		How long is "soon as possible"? You managed to get out the SEVENTH patch for GGWITE. This game is waiting on its FIRST. Last I checked we paid money too--maybe the game waiting for it's FIRST patch should have had priority???

Status: offline 		Enough already please with the steady barrage of nasty toned, sarcastic one offs posed as questions. Geez. These are good guys - good development, good support, good forum presence - and a great game that just got a wargamer award.

I've really been enjoying the game, plan to buy your pacific theater one as soon as that patch is out, and I especially appreciate the great support and board presence. Thanks, Doomtrader for being A+ in all areas you CAN control.

Hey Darkstar wake up and smell the coffee, hopefully the patch will never come out. They have decent ideas for a game but as soon as the dreaded word patch comes up the roof falls in. Be happy with the way the game plays now because you ain't see nothing yet baby They still have not fixed a very simple patch about bombardment in Storm over the Pacific, which I don't think anyone plays anymore because it is so screwed up. It has been promised and promised and promised. My real problem is with Matrix, that they would allow this to go on and on. I sincerly hope that they handle themselves with more aplomb with MWIF then they have done with Wastelands. We the buyers have no recourse with Watelands that is why Matrix should have stepped in and said if you cant fix your past games ,then go find another consumer outlet please don't use us. But alas that will never happen they made their money and time to move on. You know the old saying fool me once etc. Thank the lord that Steve is doing MWIF and not Wastelands And please Gw I did what you asked me to do in another post a few months ago but to no avail, so please keep your comments to yourself. and if you can't, please talk to your friends at wasteland and fix the bombardment in SOP!

You and Darkstar teaming up. Wow, this is going to be fun.
