Turn 152 aka Stupid Virtual Adolf!!
To my surprise, and to Oloren's disappointment, the southernmost pocket hold against the attacks made on them.
To my disbelief, Virtual Adolf has decided that Rommel should get my two SS Panzer Divisions, or two of the three most valuable units on the eastern front. All this because the Western Allies will invade NORMANDIE in about one months time according to Abwehr. Right. Normandie. Must defend Normandie at this point .
Oh well, enough of my rants. The USSR launch 29 attacks this turn, scoring 9 helds, 18 retreats and 2 surrenders.
We pull back somewhat on the frontline, trying to get as many units back as possible, but more will be lost in the next few turns, I am nevertheless somewhat happy about what I do have at the Oder-Line, so losing the beaten up frontline units is not that big a concern right now.
In the south we might still make those forts into level 4, not so in the east I fear as the enemy is now VERY close.
USSR : 60.000 troops, 425 guns, 317 AFVs, 302 AC.
Axis : 78.000 troops, 1.291 guns, 69 AFVs, 1 AC.
The 52nd, 111th, 252nd, 282nd, 389th Infantry Division and the 100th Jaeger Division all surrender this turn.
The 52nd, 111th, 252nd, 282nd, 389th Infantry Division and the 100th Jaeger Division is disbanded right after they reform. One of our Panzer Grenadier Divisions (forgot to look at which one) is merged into another Panzer Grenadier Division this turn. Better to have one decent division than two weak ones.
We formed an "Army Berlin" and reassigned some units arriving from the front to it, and moved some SUs arround. Now at 0 points available.
Manpower : 62.949
