Running DaBigBabies Quiet China Allies vs. VH AI. Nov 43.

A couple months ago 8 Sqns of the 14th USAAF arrived, 4 x P-40 and 4x B25 with Chinese pilots (although by the names it looks like a mix of Chinese and US). There is not much on the Web about 14th AF besides the Flying Tigers, but I surmise they were trained and equipped for operations in China. They are now trained up to about 50 Exp with 50-70 skill, so am looking for something for them to do.

The question, when playing a Quiet China scenario - what do you do with them? Options:

1 - Disband - adds to the pools but am thinking this is the fairest way
2 - Fly them into China, give them generic orders and let the AI sort it out
3 - Use them as normal units - a bit gamey I think
4 - Operate them out of Ledo and eventually Burma to support ops to open the Burna road and then in Indochina

Looking for ideas on what you guys do with them.

Currently a post Monsoon Arakan campaign is going well and the LRP Bdes are squatting on the RR to Myitkyina. As soon as I can scrounge enough PPs I will send two Corps South to grab the Mandalay-Lashio line before the '44 Monsoons set in. So a better than historical situation at this point.

Thanks
B
