What is the engine's limit on the end date for a scenario?

Editor manual does not mention it ...

TIA

Don't think there is one.

Try entering whatever date you want in the editor and see if it hits you.

Try and break it, if you do, you know not to do it again.

I've reset it to late 1947 with no early game problems, so....still no way to tell till I let the AI fight itself to the bitter end I guess.

If I remember correctly from the development process, there was no hard and fast limit set, but the modder must beware of wonky turn resolution. Caveat Emptor and whatnot...

The main limitation seems to be pilot replacements, as they can only be entered up to 1948. Although it could be possible to enter extra years by modyfing EXCEL files.

After all, you can define so gigantic replacements in earlier years, that there will be no need for extra pilots later (and what will break Japanese economy in the way).
