I have 2 of my CV's damaged to between 40 and 50 sys damage.

Would you advise to let them go to SF (250 repair shipyard), Pearl (100) or Sydney (50). The lower the shipyard repair capabilities are, the less time to travel for my ships.

However I have the feeling that I should send them back to SF.

Any opinions or experience out there?

Cheers.

My personal preference would be to get them to pearl to shave a few points off their sys and increase their speed then ship them to SF for completion

I'd stop the flooding, fires and then get them to PH. Knock down the sys damage so that they can conduct air ops and have them escort an eastbound convoy home. Then 1 CV to SF and the other to LA.

Over in the AE forum, Billwinkle and Alfred have maid a top notch, must have repair guide. I HIGHLY suggest you look at it, print it off, and memorize it.

The ship repairs are a very different beast in AE.  With WITP repairs, conversions and upgrades are much more of an abstract so an AE guide is not for this, but only for AE.
