Status: offline 		Not that this is an official answer, but I applied the patch before even buying the expansion. Can't imagine why it wouldn't work since the patch is meant for everyone, regardless if you have the expansion or not.

Status: offline 		First off the HTTR expansion includes the latest patch #3. The patch is a comprehensive patch - ie it will patch the game no matter what the current version ( original, patch #1, patch #2 or patch #3. So you can do things in any order you like.
