I like to defend the west.. hate it seeing partidans or british toops pop up in France lc or even germany, as German player of course.
So I like this path to support the EAST, I upgrade a few inf divs to mob.. then I take the one turn no freeze upgrade to armor div.. the are at least not as brittle as the inf in red winter... and much less pp than full armored cores..
I then rail to USSR and add to the front..
makes a good alternate to making armoor, plus while they form there is a "training " cadre in france.. albiet frozen inf but still the will gaurd a city against partisans with no difficulty...
