QUESTION ON DISAPPEARING PILOTS

Im trying to add veteran pilots to my fighter and bomber squadrons. I click on "Request veteran" and the pilot pool screen is displayed. When I then click on a pilot from either "fighter reserve" or "bomber reserve"........90 % of the time the pilot disappears from the pilot pool screen and also does not appear on the roster of the squadron Im trying to fill.

Do these pilots eventually end up in the squadron Im trying to fill(even though they dont appear on the roster of pilots for that squadron) or do they just go to pilot heaven?

If the pilot is changing aircraft-type, his exp could have changed and as the default of that screen is EXP, he could have dropped down onto the next page of the screen.
You could try sorting by 'group' or changing filter to 'group->this' to see if they are there.
