I joined just in time to at least read a couple of Herwin's posts before he passed. At any rate, it is sad to hear this. My thoughts and prayers to their friends and families.

Status: offline 		In three years of reading this forum (and seldom posting myself), I've seen DivePac88 answer to a lot of questions from newbies like me.  He may not have been the foremost expert on each and every subject matter, he was always eager to help, never patronizing newcomers, and like some have sayd, never had a word to prompt discouragement.

May he rest in peace and find a world of shiny seas and clear skies.

I admired Divepacs enthusiasm from afar. Although like most I've never met the man I feel close to him spiritually like others on the forum after years of reading what they have to say. I genuinely feel sorry today for not only his family who I imagine are dealing with sorrow that no words can heal but our loss as well.
