I own many wargames and always have had to input the product key/serial no. once when first installing the game. Here, I have to input the key every time I open the game. Is that normal? If it is, it is absolutely ABSURD !!! I would never recommend the purchase of a game under those circumstances.

Yes, you should only enter the key once.

This could be a configuration issue with your machine. I am sending you a PM to see if we can sort it out.

Thanks 2xTom and Treale for your prompt responses. Before I ran thru the PM, I decided to open the game again (probably the 6th time the game was opened overall) and to my very pleasant surprise, the product key was no longer required !!. Perhaps I should have been more persistent before I posted but I truly did not expect the issue to magically disappear. For future reference, I thought it odd that I did not get a prompt for the product key at the outset of the installation process (which is normally the case); the game simply "installed" without it. Then, when I opened the game, the key was required. Again, the issue now resolved itself and I am very much looking forward to delving further into what appears to be an excellent game. If you, Tom, and the moderater/administrator of the forum feel that the issue is a unique/one time quirk, please feel free to delete this thread, as I would not want to discourage anyone from possibly purchasing the game. Thanks again.
