244 StuG Bde did not move for many hours without any apparent reason: it has a lot of fuel, little fatigue, and no visible threat.

The brigade starts moving again within the hour - There is a threat to the HQ near Auw that appears by around 12:30 and the brigade starts moving again as soon as that threat is dislodged.

Not a lockup.

I see. You're probably right, but the progress is very small even after some hours, while I and II Bn 294 did more progress on feet.

244 StuG Bde has Min Aggro and Fastest Speed; shouldn't it move more fluently? It seems to me that in general there is sometimes a high viscosity on the move. Anyway thanks for your evaluation.

I find that assigning a formation for the force myself rather than letting the AI decide get's the force moving earlier. Low aggro seems to make them more timid and unwilling to move out whereas I used to assume low aggro was telling them to "keep moving but don't engage". The truth is most likely somewhere in the middle.

I don't pretend to know everything about what is under the hood - I'm still learning and experimenting as well.

Thanks. I'll try to experiment some more.
