Other is vehicles abandoned/destroyed because of casualty/crew loss and equipment culling - I've thought that they should (or at least some of them) be Surrender.

Huge difference in losses. I do love the new AAR screen. Oh if only we could click on each unit and see something like that.

Normally it's arty fire when playing as the germans that cause mass losses. I see during the battle Arty shells where hard to find. So why the big descrepency in losses?

What do actually mean "accident" and "other" in the casualties tabs? Me guesses "reliability" is involved in these?

I'd also like to know precisely, these detailed AAR's were introduced with the last patch and while some of the fields are obvious other's aren't.

EDIT: I see that we have similar tastes when it comes to picking up forum avatars

RockinHarry, Lieste:

I don't think you will ever see a vehicle surrender. The crew can surrender, the AFV not.
So the "Other" number represent vehicles captured or abandoned, I agree with that in Lieste's thoughts.
Until now I never saw a loss through accident. I think this number will increase, once your troops will arrive by air landing or parachute.

Wodin:

What do you mean with descrepancy in losses, compared to what ?

While equipment lacks the volition to 'surrender' it can be 'surrendered' or captured easily enough...

Just seems to be an awful lot of dead germans compared to the US. Usually it's the case because of Arty but that isn't the case here.

So vehicle "reliability" is not implemented yet?

"Other" losses then mean "damaged" vehicles and then abandoned? "Damage" by fire or damage by breakdown (reliability)? Both?

@ Bletchley_Geek: If you don´t mind sharing! ...think I have this avatar since 2003-2004 or so.

Well, actually you're the one "sharing" it with me I took it because it was the picture on the Axis victory screen on Atomic Games' D-Day: America Invades. I played that game to death.

It is a good avatar. Never played those atomic games, missed out I think.

I thought breakdowns where covered in the AAR? I'm sure it's been verified at some point. Anyway i want individula AAR's for each unit at the end of the game (or even better during).

Great AAR!  Great Read!

What program do you use to annotate your screenshots?

IrfanView
It is small and very easy to use, with some basic editing tools.
In my opionion it is the best picture viewer that is available.
