Is there a way to change the colour of the Graphical User Interface, and perhaps remove the metallic sheen/shine off the panels? Although it is eye catching, the metallic lustre, I find it distracting when trying to read the information in the games panels.

Another gripe is that a lot of the dialog boxes are quite greedy in their hogging of the screen space. The unit selection one, takes up the majority of the screen and there doesn't seem to be a way to resize it. If I could remove columns and resize it, I'd be able to browse the units and view the map at the same time.

Many dialogues in the game just seem to be overly "spacey" and fill out the available screen space.

Also, can I move the Attack panel or is it fixed in the bottom left corner?

It can be done, but GUI mods often get over-written by patches.

Agent S, depend on what you are planning to do, you might start doing it now or wait, however I'm not planning to change the GUI gfx files (but the resolution files, yes).
