Hi-I'm up and runnung with this, for me, new v. I was loading a LCU and noticed something I'd not seen before-"Stacking cost."

Someone please inform me of what this means(besides the obvious) in terms of playing. Is this in a readme?

Good question, I would like to know as well, as I was thinking stacking was applicable really to atolls.

Hi-Haven't had a response to this. I've got a further question along these lines.

On Ponape I've got 7 USAAF HQ. When I bring up the screen for this unit it has an (a) as the last letter. What does this mean? Where can I go to get the info re playing this v?

Still only applies to atolls.
There is an alternate pwhex data file being worked on to implement stacking across all hexes in the game.

It is a work in progress and must be put into the game manually.
I do not recomend using it for any stock game, pbem or ai game in progress.

There is one for the Babes mod that seems to be working alright.
I only recomend it for pbem, as the ai will ignore stacking restrictions, and move junk wherever it wants.

Penalties for overstacking are increased supply usage and more losses in combat if over stacked.

There are other codes next to units, denoting there usages at a glance.
This is for players who don't know the differences of units in the game.

There is a list somewhere in Michaelm's beta thread,though I don't know where it actually is.

The changes should also be listed in the beta readme file, although the list has grown quite long.

Doesn't just apply to atolls in the stock game though- also applies to medium and small islands. Atolls are a subclass of islands that result in auto shock attacks by the invader on their first (and perhaps subsequent) combat round and higher losses on both sides.

Yes, stacking limits are stacking limits. It does not have to be an atoll but they are the ones that typically have the smallest stacking limits. The penalty applies wherever you are over stacked though.

Where is the staking limits for other islands indicated? In a mouse over??
