I ran accross the modding site for GSB here, and thought that the artwork created for their mods could very easily be ported and used for DW (with proper acknowledgement of course). I'm not real handy with Photoshop, though, so I will just put this where everyone can take note.

Yesterday I had a look to find some Wing-Commander ships who look sexy butt no luck

Annyway,

I continued searching for something special and found this the Ancient VS Microbe Mod
And i wonder how it would look like in Distant World ...

FYI, the developer for GSB and we previously agreed not to mod the GSB graphics into DW as he was not comfortable with that.

Erik, thanks for the reminder. That concern is exactly why I linked to the GSB modding forum, where the majority of the artwork isn't based off of original GSB artwork. As long as we ask the modders permission, give credit, and don't use artwork based on GSB files I don't think it should be an issue. They have some great Sci-fi art for everything from star wars to gundam on there.
