Some problems: (maybe just me)
Search is faulty (no not the usual)
1. user histories no longer work; newest 50 or 100.
2. Related - Today's posts, Most active and posts since don't work
Amusingly,
3. Maddog986 is the moderator for this forum area ... a guy with no posts and advertising aspirin.

But I will say that he's doing a good job cleaning the spam lately ... much better

Maybe he is advertising aspirin to give us hints of what he wants for Christmas.....you know, to help deal with all the spammers who come calling....

Maybe time for a forum software upgrade too ... latest is v3.9 and you're on 2.4.5 after all...

Maybe Maddog986 is a dummy ...

edit - still no word on the other issues though.

I see that someone has replied to a post, but when I click on that post, they have not replied to it.

I see that someone has replied to a post, but when I click on that post, they have not replied to it.

In those cases, it's usually a spambot whose post was deleted.

I'm going to keep bumping this until something is done or someone "official" replies. I want my post search function back

I agree! It would be nice to have some searchable functionality on the forums again...

Matrix must have time to work on the forum now - there's prescious little going on in the new releases front (all appear to be miles away) and the sale is launched - so you must have time to look into your forums Mr Matrix..........

While they are at it do a chmod on all the user uploaded avatars. How hard can it be...

Matrix really could use new/upgraded forums though.

Maybe we should "occupy the Matrix forums."

Oh, wait.  We kind of do that already, don't we?

As long as they don't update to The Wargamer forum software, never kept you logged in and was a pain for double posts.

Matrix Games would like to wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a happy New Year! In the spirit of holiday cheer, Matrix Games will be running with an abbreviated staff effective Friday, December 16th at 5PM EST until Tuesday, January 3rd. As a result, some replies from Matrix Games may be delayed.
The 3rd is my birthday and I hope by then or shortly after they answer this thread...

I feel like the forum (not game) support here has been getting steadily worse ... have you guys reached critical mass?

Glad to see a new web admin is being hired. Maybe I won't be bumping this into old age after all.

Check out the Press release spamming...
