Am playing the Kiadians. In the weapons tech i am unable to build Armour however i don't think this race should have any tech restrictions. Also the text in the armour section refers to Naaxillians.

Status: offline 		I'm not sure I understand. That message notes that Armor is not available to Naxxilians, but the tech tree itself is enabled and available to you. Based on the screenshot, you already have the first armor tech.

yes you are correct - i think i was fooled by the big red "X" and didn't stop to see that it was actually available

Status: offline 		Good to hear. I understand how the message caused confusion, but that's the same as the other messages that say "Only available to Boskara" and such. If the tech tree is actually not available to you, it would look like the other prohibited tech trees. If you start a game as Naxxilians, you should see the difference.

I blame my eagerness to start a new game without a annoying bug.

Status: offline 		Actually, looking at this in-game myself, the red X is over the image of the Naxxilians, which just reinforces that they do not have access to that tech tree. That's actually by design, but I can see how it caused confusion. If you look at the other prohibited tech trees, you can see what a tech tree you are not allowed to research looks like.

There's no bug - as long as you are not playing Naxxilians, who do not have access to Armor, you can research armor normally. The way that we displayed that limit has caused some confusion, but there is no bug here.
