Is it too soon to state that I'm ready to have my house sold now? Sick and tired of cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Gotta get it ready to list on Friday.... keep moving forward...

Here's hoping it sells quickly, Mike. Otherwise, the real PITA is having it in 'show quality' cleanliness every. single. freakin'. day. Having to leave at a moment's notice for someone to see the house while you're home is a nice touch too.

Blech! Sell it quickly, dude!

Doooood!

As I finished that last post, someone came by my desk for an actual work conversation. It's a good thing I have about a thousand New Pages in my CV so I don't feel left out.

Thanks, Andre! Honestly, even with the dog and cats, keeping it in show quality and leaving at a moment's notice will be easier to manage than the deep, deep cleaning we're going through right now.

At least I think I'm finished hauling stuff out to storage for now.

Hi all,

quote:

ORIGINAL: USS America

We're moving very fast from the selling end. Hope to have our house listed on Friday. I don't think the sellers are jerk-offs. From their perspective, they don't want to effectively take their house off of the market for an unknown period of time while waiting for us to get ours under contract. They countered our "contingent" offer with one that added dates that our house will be listed by and maximum waiting time. If we didn't meet those dates, our Due Diligence and Earnest money would be forfeit. Not gonna gamble like that. Unfortunately, the amounts are too high for us to be able to purchase a new house without selling our old one.

Our realtor is very confident that our house will move fast. The house we are looking to buy has been listed several times over the past few years and then de-listed. It has currently been listed at it's price for 80 days. It will still be there in a few weeks, when our's is under contract to sell. Then, our new offer will be quite a bit lower than the original one we made.

Fingers crossed Mike!

I'm not sure what all of that means, but I think Dixie has hacked your forum account.

What a perfect day. 70F. a light breeze. Wouldn't bother me in the least if we never hit 80F.

Good evening from the Columbus Convention center, of which we were evacuated for half the day today due to a transformer explosion out back...

Denmark's national football disgra... er, team lost 0-4 to Armenia in Copenhagen last night. The Armenians went one goal up after 18 SECONDS of game time. It was a 93-minute train crash.

Ouch! Is Armenia a football powerhouse?

Speaking of football (American style) at least you're team probably hasn't posted posted the worst ten year record in the history of the sport...I wish I could say the same.

Speaking further on American football, one of my boyhood heros recently passed away...Deacon Jones. You have to appreciate a player whose principal contribution to the game was the "invention" of the head slap.

We haven't had a good football team since 1993.

Armenia is known to be an uninspired, average, middle-of-the-road eastern european team. To add insult to injury, Kim ****ING Kardashian tweeted about their victory afterwards. Her family is apparently of Armenian descent.

Had a fun, but exhausting trip to the ballpark last night with the kids. Great game to watch for families with kids-a rousing come from behind victory for the home team. Didn't get home until about midnight though.

Had to carry my 9 YO to bed. Dude's getting big! I won't be able to do that in another couple years. But I can now.

Here's to the American past time. A summer evening baseball game.

Loooong night last night of cleaning, but the house is as ready as we can get it for photos on short notice. I wonder how much damage the dog, cats, and kid can do before the photographer gets there around 1430?

Reminds me of the Daffy Duck cartoon line from his screen career. "I wonder where all the hunters are today?" Then he gets surrounded by about 10 shotgun-wielding hunters that repeatedly blast the **** out of him. Bugs Bunny wrote the script. The Episode was "A Star is Bored".
