Nope. He's showing a respect to tradition. And good manners for the rest of us.
Now how about doing us all a favor, and showing us all some respect by complying with his request? Please consider this a second request.

What exactly was unfriendly about "Please could you..."?

Termie isn't exactly known for his manners so I was taken aback a bit at his use of "Please" in this instance...

Good morning you lot. Tithe what what...

Hunger Games was amusing, but hardly the best movie ever made. I'd give it a C+.

Why were you watching that, when you could have been watching The Avengers?

Why were you watching that, when you could have been watching The Avengers?

Because Mrs. Chickenboy was involved in the decision making process. Avengers has been getting rave reviews, so that'll be on our next movie sojourn.

I'm also pleased that MIB3 is coming out soon. Enjoyed the first one particularly. Battleship looks like a train wreck. Which of you lot will be the experimental canary in the bad movie coal mine to warn the rest of us off?

Avengers is a fantastic film. Joss Whedon actually pulled it off.

56 years old, very active and in good shape. According to the person right behind him, he "just stopped pedalling and fell into the ditch". Probably didn't feel a thing; just lights out.

Giro ...already...boy how the time flys.

Too bad for the Mayor...at least he didn't kick it the night before with the two hookers and cheap wine.

Hi all,

BTW, could post WWI 16" and 14" USN guns hurt Yamato's armor?

Was there some test about that (we all heard a lot about hypothetical Iowa vs. Yamato engagements) but Iowa had latest 16"/50 caliber Mark 7 guns whilst the Colorado class had oder 16"/50 caliber Mark 5 guns?

Nearly all of the heavy-calibre hits were scored at ranges of less than 15000 yards, well within Yamato's immunity zone. She was basically picked apart.
