Schani, the Casino Night was a blast! Hockey players don't realize they are supposed to be stuck up millionaires. They are all just so damned real, if you know what I mean.

BTW, I caught just the second period of the UND - Denver game Friday night. It was a good period, with some attitude thrown in. How did the game end? That #7 for the Sioux (can't remember his name) is the real deal, despite all the praise from the announcers.

#7 Danny Kristo. Unbelievably they won 4-3. Damned near blew it. And they lost 3-5 Saturday. Just not our year. The Sioux would be a better team if Brett Hextall and Jason Gregriore hadn't left school early for the NHL. Sometimes I hate the NHL for taking our guys like that. They'll still most likely make the regional play-offs. But they have to get through the WCHA play-offs first and then wait and see.
Last year my buddy (ex-Sioux player brought me down to the coaches lounge and met Dave Hakstal (Coach) and present and past players including Ed Belfour who in town. Then we went out to a local tavern and had whooping great time. Belfour didn't come along, his son was with him.

A "-26" Monday morning tithe...

You still in Phoenix?

It won't be -F numbers here, but we are expecting snow tonight.

Naw. I just *wish* I were. 6-12" of the white stuff expected here tomorrow. Sigh...

Oh, by the way, I've ecclipsed your post count, my Argletonian colleague. Noob.

S'up THREAD dudes? Just got back from a glorious 10 days in Arizona. Lovely, lovely, lovely. I even got a (requisite Minnesotan) sunburn / tan to show for it.

Wrong part of the country, dude. All they do in AZ, these days, is play golf and water the cacti.

You are missing out on the HogWild BBQ Championship and Festival, right here in Bee-You-Tee-Ful, Mobile, Alabama (at the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds).

Yes .. YOU .. can utterly trash your New Year's resolutions to get healthy and have some wicked, fatty, pork BBQ;
Yes .. YOU .. can ignore your SO and have some chicken, with some crispy chicken skin still on it;
Yes .. YOU .. can ignore your SO and have some pork ribs, the kind that's barbied sweet and slow, and still has some fat on it;
Yes .. YOU .. can have a slo-smoked BostonBack, and the commies in MA won't have a clue (as if they ever did);
Yes .. YOU .. can eat like a human being, and screw the PC Nazis (well, forget the screw part; they usually smell too bad).

C'mon down South. I find that the deep South don't advertise, 'cause it don't want more outsiders. Suits me. But it plays really cool. Love it here, and it's simply jasmine; and magnolias, spanish moss, azaelias, palm trees, camelias, shrimp, red snapper, pecans, cotton, BBQ, and the loveliest young ladies you will ever want to see.

Gotta couple decent golf courses on the Trent Jones Golf Trail, too.

Speaking of ex-Sioux players, saw Mike Commodore was traded to Tampa today.

"The Robe" will always be a part of Hurricanes lore.

Commodore always reminded me of Oglethorpe from 'Slap Shot'. I guess he kinda acted like him too.

Morning tithe... Home safe and sound after the operation, have lost a bit of weight, but everything is healing well. My only real concern is; the mental anguish I have caused my beautiful Nurses again, with only staying a week then leaving them again!

Well, according to the MIB, that's where we got the microwave and that bouncy ball thingy that caused the NYC blackout in 1972, so why not some help with their V2 program?

My condolences to those fair maidens you left behind at the hospital...

Hi Leo... Just as well these Alien's didn't advise Mr H to build these weapons when he had time to use them, and in quantity.

You Danes have got to stop flaunting this stuff before there's a larger international incident.

While talking about another Hysterical Channel blunder a few years ago I had a co-worker defend their ridiculous claim with this: "Dude... it's on television! It has to be true! Someone would sue them if it wasn't."

John, I may soon need to take you up on that offer. My son NEEDS to see the Naval Aviation Museum over at Pensacola.

Probably not until next Summer, though. I only have a few days of vacation time with the new job this year, and they are effectively spoken for on our Turks trip.
