Tak, a very good question Kamerad Armija Krajova... No thread and no news or communication, why?

There is no patch. But they fear the wrath of the crazed wargamer so they tell lies and spread disinformation. Then again, since there are actually only four people on the forum with many alts it doesn't really matter, does it?

Its not really a secret, its been talked about a lot. I guess the issue is that there is no way to tell how long it takes to get done enough to be put out in the public. It's frustrating for all of us, but we do know that things are being worked on, and eventually we get an improved TOAW, which is an awesome thing.

I am willing to wait...there are too many companies, and associated communities that can keep a game up-to-date as well as Matrix does! When Talonsoft dropped out of the picture, I was praying that someone would pick up TAOW...and it has been done in a 5-star fashion. TY all. Ralph & company, allong with all the folks that donate time and expertise make it worth the wait. [&o][&o][&o]

Ralph went missing for awhile. So the release has probably been pushed back. Then add to that some things that have recently been uncovered that have to be fixed. Summer 2013 wouldn't be unreasonable.

But the world as we know it will end December of this year so it doesn't really matter. [:D]

Pay close attention to the BLUE print
ORIGINAL: Curtis Lemay

Attached is a zip file containing the wishlist document that Jarek Flis and I have been developing for months. It was developed by collecting the wishes expressed here, there, and everywhere. We've tried to be comprehensive, but, in spite of the label, that is unattainable. We'll try to continue to maintain it as more issues are raised. Hopefully, this will reduce the repetitive posting of the same wishes over and over.

It's very important that everyone understand that this document is totally unofficial. Be sure to read and understand the disclaimer it contains and repeated here:

Disclaimer: This document contains only a collection of WISHES made by anyone and everyone, and is not a commitment by Matrix Games or anyone else to implement anything contained herein.

January 1, 2012: Version 12 posted.

Note: I'm not able to delete the version 10 document attached to post #1 of this thread or the version 11 document posted in post #1378. Just ignore them till I can get it fixed - if ever. The version in this post is the latest version.

Note that items in red are new. Items in blue have been implemented.

Note: Those of you that don't have Word can still download a free Word viewer here:

Hallo Schultz,

ja, they should at least allow most of us to use the latest 3.5 pre-beta or whatever... no use for starting new gigantic scenario designs and at a sudden there are new features which have to be implemented as well.

Perhaps a petition to the head-honchos? ;)

Maybe. But as it stands now, i wouldn't recommend playing with the current state of the patch. Still too many issues to be resolved.

Note that this is completely out of my or Bob's or anyone else of the beta testers' hands. Ralph's the head-honcho (i had too google this..[:D]).
