BMP-1 and BMP-2 (two units with the same chassi, but a great difficult on the battlefield)

Note the NVA had only one unit (MSR-8) with BMP-2 - only the soviet Guard divisions use this IFV in 1990.

Do you have problems to install the mod ?

1. Download and copy MWC in mod file(link is on the 1st entry)- use PC+patch 1.05 !
2. install generic mod enabler and switch to MWC
3. start the scenario Demo Modern War 28Jan2012 or join my two opened games on MP server.

Note - for now you can play only with the installed content packet - I used the old scenario editor.
Next upcoming version is for the new 1.05 scn editor and you can play without content packet (I hope !)

Great mod. I too cannot get it to work either. I have installed JGSME into the Panzer Corps game folder and made the MOD folder in the game directory. I then downloaded the latest MWC into the MODS folder, clicked on the desktop shortcut for JGSME, activated the folder and exited JGSME.

When I start Panzer Corps, I look into the scenario directory and am not seeing the demo file as outlined in the beginning of the thread.

Is this an issue with the latest update or am I just not doing any of the install correctly?

Again, glad you're doing all of this fantastic work and looking forward to the finished product.

Hi Matt,
you must copy the scenario files "Demo Modern War 28Jan2012" to your extern scenario directory - than you can see the scenario in your list.
Also you can play it in MP modus - you can join to my two opened games.

And yes - a first version "Northern Plane" comes in some days - but only for BETA tester who join my MP games or write me an e-mail to test the 1st big MP map.

First, let me say the unit detail is STUNNING! You really have put a lot of work into it.

But, I'm having the same issue as choowee. I have the mod loaded using the GME. I have the scenario copied. When I try to load it I get the "required content package is missing" error.

I am running 1.05.

I can't wait to run around with the modern units! They look great!!!

Thanks,

BoBo

You have obviously dedicated lots of time to this mod, so I don't wish to offend you. Just some criticism about the unit textures. They look very 'washy' and seem to lack detail. They are large unit icons, so it is very noticeable.

Hi Lord Zimoa
Here is the first Demo - in single modus all the things running fine.
But I and some of my test crew can't open no more MP games yet after patch 1.20
I don't know - where is the problem - I think we need an Dr. Title to handle with this engine- changed after every patch.

Nice to see all this modern equipment in 3d. Good work!

Are you familiar with the Supreme Ruler game series btw? Pretty different from the PG/PzC style, but they have a title dedicated to the modern world and one for the cold war. Unfortunately the selection of unit models is pretty limited in those games so they would really benefit from such a graphic mod.

Dummorix,

Fantastic work just continues to show with each release. Is this mod ever going to be adaptable to the Panzer Corps engine and be able to generate singular missions and perhaps campaigns some day?
