DEMO Modern War Corps:

1. Install the game with "Generic Mod Enabler" !
2. Play the scenario "Demo Moden War Corps"

Note - thats only a Demo - not all units are finished - not all animations and fin tunings are include !
You can play with the full eastern german 8th tank division with some support of two soviet regiments and one tank batl from the 9th tank division.
On western german side you have the full 6th Panzer Grenadier Division and an tank regiment of the 8th tank division near Hamburg.

Thanks to Massi for his nice terrain packs ! I hope you wotk again - I need some more pads.

Fred, Massi and I working hard for the new upcoming Modern War Corps.
Modern War Corps will show you the WW3 at 1990 on middle Europe - First we will set only an northern Germany MP map with a little Campaign to learn to fight with the new units and map design.
The Scale is 1km = 1 Hex and we discuss a battalion level - but with company we can show the military structurs mutch better - also we have enough space on the map for companys.
Include are the nations SU, CSSR, GDR, Poland and Hungary for the Warzaw Pact - USA, FRG, France, Denmark, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Canada and Spain for the NATO.
The most NVA units are finished - now we work on Bundeswehr units.

Here is a first screen of the Northern Plaine map - the first battle area - the city of Lübeck:

1st new NVA units on map:

1st new BW units on map: (note the switched units !)

Thank you Gary !
Its nice to hear a good critic from 3 of the greatest civ3 unit designer. Do you like to work with us on future animated versions ?

Some unitcards for the NVA helicopters:

Mil Mi-8

Mil Mi-24

Mil Mi-2

For all nations I have 23 different helicopters yet.
Also you can switch the helicopters between air and landing unit - than they can use supply also without airfield, but can not fight or move with the landing unit - its more realistic.
For all jets you can also switch between 2 different weapon systems (Bombs or rockets).
The most artillery can also switch to directly fire to fight against tanks over 1 hex with different unit .
Rocket launcher switch between drive unit and fire unit - its mor realictic to prepare an fire position in 1 round - also I used 2 different unit figures for drive and fire.
Engineers can switch between combat and ponton bridge - I have nice figures yet.

Even if I HATE (totally) modern warfare, your project looks amazing! Good effort.

1st Soviet units on map:

Note - all helicopters are reduced to 50% size - I have no space to show it in the same scale like the vehicles !
Also you can see the switched version of the helicopters to use them also independent from the airfields.

new idea for transport helicopters:
I will use all transport helicopters for Spetnaz, Kampftaucher, Fallschirmjäger, Special Forces as switchable transport units:
1. Helicopter as transport unit not moveable staying on the ground
2. Helicopter as transport aircraft can fly to the battle zones
Than you can use the helicopters independant from transport machine pool points and without airfields and Aircraft carriers. Also you can buy the helicopters yet as transport unit.
