Some time ago I discovered, that for Japanese ships, listed Cruise Speed is different, than in-game 15 (OK, I actually thought, that it is rare occurrence, but it seems almost all combat ships DD, or larger, have different Cruise Speed). That had generated this list of changes, I have also fixed some other inconsistencies (numbers are range/fuel and maximum speed/Cruise Speed):

674 Lexington 14
696 Long Island 10000 14

1002 Tenryu 33/14
1012 Yubari 5000 35/14
1016 Kuma 9000 36/10
1022 Kitakami 5000 36-23/14 (That one is quite complicated)
1032 Nagara 36/14
1042 Sendai 5000 35/14
1052 Katori 10
1062 Agano 8000 35/18
1072 Oyodo 10600 35/18

1102 Furutaka 7000 34/14
1107 Aoba 6600 34/14
1112 Myoko 8000 35/14
1122 Takao 14
1128 Maya 35/14
1133 Mogami 34/14
1143 Tone 8000 18 (Yup, every Cruiser, except Tone, is sloooow)

1382 Momi 36/
1387 Wakatake 36/
1402 Minekaze 3600 39/14
1412 Mutsuki 37/14
1422 Kamikaze 37/14
1432 Fubuki(s) 5000 38/14
1448 Hatsuharu 4000/460 34/18
1456 Shiratsuyu 4000/460 33/18
1462 Asashio 4000 35/18
1472 Kagero 35/18
1482 Yugumo 35/18
1492 Akitsuki 33/18
1502 Shimakaze 6000 39/18
1507 Yasoshima 21/12
1512 Matsu 3500 28/18
1517 Tachibana 18

1704 Kongo 18
1710 Fuso 11800/5200 16
1718 Ise 9500 16
1722 Nagato 8560 16
1726 Yamato 16

1802 Hosho 26/12
1806 Akagi 10000/7600 32/16
1816 Hiryu 10330/4500 18
1821 Soryu 7750/3710 18
1826 Shokaku /4100 18
1831 Zuiho 7800 18
1835 Junyo 12251/4100 18
1840 Ryujo 14
1845 Taiho /5200 18
1848 Ryuho 9700/2900 18
1852 Unryu 8000/3750 18
1855 Shinano /8900 18
1857 Ibuki 7500 18
1859 Shinyo 9000 19
1862 Kaiyo 18
1865 Taiyo 6500 18
1873 Chitose 11810 18
1881 Nisshin 18
1886 Akitsushima 8000 14

I must say, that creates some interesting patterns. Older ships sail at 14kn, which would translate to 1 hex less in around 2 days, but 18kn for modern ships is around 1 hex more for every impulse (so almost 2 for day), which may cause certain fuel conservation for KB.
During implementation I have also discovered, that Ibuki have some pitiful armor (it was converted Cruiser), but most importantly - Allied TFs at sea are fully refueled (with exception of most of Dutch submarines). I vaguely recall such discussion long time ago, and I thought it was already fixed.

There was a topic about TRUK few weeks ago. Lots of useful information, but I especially checked captured equipment numbers for land troops (page 40). Except mysterious 56 Automatic Pistols for IJN (there is picture attached, and those are clearly some version of MP18)...

Take a look at list of IJA equipment. There is incredible amount of support weapons:
The number of Rifles is 12186, which roughly corresponds to number of soldiers, there are 1313 pistols, which also seems OK, but...
There are 1131 "knee" mortars. Almost 1 per 10 Rifles, and those rifles should also be used by all support troops, gun crews, etc. This seems almost, like all troops were line infantry!
Then... there was 1192 Rifle Grenade Launchers - that is like 2 per squad! And the mysterious 475 Type 2 Grenade Dischargers (they are either "knee" mortars "Kiska type", or Type 2 Rifle Grenade Launchers for AT grenades, which increase number of such devices to 3 per squad!).
Also number of MGs is large. 792 LMGs, and 400 HMGs (not even counting AA types). My rough estimation of composition of forces (counting men) indicates on less, than 500 squads in all IJA units. So again like 2 MGs per squad.

Is this example of mysterious Island Warfare Units? Seems quite early, as first unit arrived on Truk in January 1944.

I also wanted to add Asahi repair ship, but its story seems complicated. It was Battleship, and during conversion they supposedly somehow removed its armor.
First it was converted into submarine salvage ship (so maybe AS), then plane catapult was added. Later it served as transport, then it was converted into repair ship (AR?), but six months later it was modified into torpedo depot ship (so like AD?), but it was repairing CLs, and I do not think ADs can do that. So what will it be? Repair ship with rearming ability? Any ideas?
