A Few Questions about the DLCs

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

A Few Questions about the DLCs

Post by vonRocko »

How do the original game scenerios work in with the DLCs? If you only buy the 39 DLC, what happens when you finish it? Do you continue with the rest of the original game? What about the original polish, norway and french scenerios, what happens to them? What is the release schedule for all the DLCs? I would rather buy them all at once, to play through the whole war. That will be pretty awesome!
Thanks.

The new campaigns are complete new campaigns and not connected to the original game. You can only continue Grand Campaign '39 to Grand Campaign '40 and so on. They are at a different scale and not balanced to fit in to the existing campaigns, they only bolt together with the Grand Campaign.

Aye, 7 at least covering 1939-1945. Maybe more if there is enough demand.

This question does raise one from me. Is there a planned released schedule for future DLCs? It would be nice to know if we can anticipate at least one new one per quarter.

Does it matter weather I buy the DLC campaigns in Matrix or Slitherine?, I'm asking because I bought the game in Slitherine but since both companies have merged I understand the serial number should also be valid if I purchase the DLC in Matrix. Am I right?

Thanks.
