Hi there npsergio From my Xperience in my glorious long oil campaign I can say without a doubt that it is completely useless to bomb anything thru clouds(radar or no radar...well without a radar equipped leader the raid wont even find the target so it is even worse). Even when the game says that your bombs did fall in the area the most damage I got was like 2%. Sadly I don't know how production works in facilities that take damage, but I'm guessing their output is reduced proportionally to damage inflicted upon the facility (well that would be the reasonable thing to program). If you produce fatigue and loose planes in a mission to get a 2% hit while in bright sunlight you could get 99% damage with the same effort I think anyone will conclude it is socialist to attack with overcast conditions over the target. However, I've never attacked ground units in the game so I cant say I know how that works. BUT-BUT-BUT... as bad weather doesn't prevent my glorious thunderbolts to dive bomb and machine gun the hell out of enemy airfields, I'm guessing that perhaps, provided the raid is done with fighters that is, bad weather wont have an effect on that raid also (provided that they find the target, thou so far not a single one of my FS raids has failed to find the target airport). But using level bombers (or dive bombers bellow 10.000 feet is a bad idea in overcast conditions always IMHO). Hope that helps but anyways with any game as complex as this, I always find that the manual is full of generalities that are useless in game, thus forcing you to live in the game's forum, and test almost anything to see the results in game [one would think sometime in the distant future game companies will include some of the data from the million tests they do in beta testing in the manual instead of all that literature they put in their manuals]. So I humbly suggest you try what I do (if you haven't done so already) to organize a single raid, run the day, see how that turned out, reload, try again with new settings...Also, what helped me a lot was to let the ai plan the raids...I noted the altitude settings and that allowed me to finally plot raids that didn't produce a 70% casualty rate among my glorious bombin' groups...so big improvement there Just my two cents EDIT:: according to other post in the forum, mandatory attacks make some of your bomber groups to "disappear" as they are assumed to be transferred to army control in order to make the attacks. Apparently if you want to avoid this to happen, you can make the missions before by means of targeting those targets. Thus there is no penalty(other than losing the control over those Bomber groups) because the attacks will be carried away either you plan them or not.
