Status: online 		Hm, the most interesting is that which is not seen. I'm referring to FBD 2. Are you going to use 3 FBD's in the south? A tandem going the Chernovtsy-Vinnitsa route and one Odessa-Krim?

Armament Pts in Pool = 47500
Hiwis= 40000
Men in pool= 56000

Generally speaking poeple are just basicly running from me so I have now started to manage my Arm pts, Hiwis, refits and men in manpower pools.

I am forsed to look long term into 42. I am just not going to beable to pocket units. Fighting as with the past few games is very light.

Basicly nothing major or interesting this turn same stuff as last 3 or 4 games.

Only thing of interest is my armerment pool has started growing. I just don't need to replase anything, because I am not losing anything. Just tired trucks and AFV's to movement basicly.

Now that they finally fixed the arm , bug I thk I can save up at least 200,000 armerment pts, unless someone desides to fight or I deside to try for Moscow.

AGN: same old stuff, tanks clearing a raod for infantry.

Status: online 		Pelton, you seem to keep picking opponents who are not aware of the Hungarian activation rules.

NOTE TO EVERYONE: Don't "Invade" Hungary in 1941 if you are the Soviets! You will activate all the Hungarian/Italian units! If you capture a single town in Hungary, all Frozen Axis Allied units un-freeze.

I think everyone does it because they are pocketed, and they think "Well, let's tear up some rail lines anyway".

The real effect IMO is in winter; all those units will mean you have plenty of diggers in AGS area. That means more forts. The combat value is pretty low.

Status: offline 		Wait until next turn or so, then check. I routinely have the Russian AI attack a Romanian town on turn 1 and kick out the mountain brigade, by turn 3 everyone is activated, except the Romanians that is.

Status: offline 		Given this seems to be the standard Russian reaction to playing Pelton, I wonder if you change up your tactics and just used the motorized infantry to flip territory and have the tanks follow in flipped territory? I could see some big advantages to doing something like that but likely the two big benefits would be far less wear and tear on your tanks and a better gas situation since you are not expending as many movement points to catch up vs the amount of movement points required to flip enemy territory.

Probably could not do it with just motorized infantry units, but I would have to consider using my crapiest panzers (in terms of tanks) to help do the territory flipping and save the "good" panzers for better more decisive stuff if the Russians decide to make a stand.

One of the big issues for the Axis right now is tank attrition and I wonder if the above will make a difference or not.

Releasing all those Hungarians also means the Germans can pretty much move most of their security forces north now that they have extra units in the south to garrison cities, etc.

AGN: Rail to Leningrad cut off.
AGC: 19 Only hexes to Moscow.
AGS: 1 HQ build up. Poltava rail cut and only 10 hexes from Kharkov and 19 from Stalino.


AGN: Basicly Leningrad is mine other then moving around art ect. So withen a few turns 4th PZ Grp and 16th army will head to Moscow area. I don't need any more then 1 division every 3 hexes up here.

Status: offline 		AGC: I am past landbridge and only 19 hexes from Moscow. As per normal Russian reaction to my spearhead this will cause a general withdrawal from river defences. Again 10 or so attacks cause a region wide withdrawal, my tactics gain large chunks of land for little to no fighting.

I have 2 more infantry corps withen 1 turn of front and 4th PZ will be released withen 2 turns from north and 16th army as soon as I get over river.

Status: offline 		AGS: River crossed and a few arm pts locked down.
I expect M60 to basicly withdraw totally from south in 2 or 3 turns once Stalino arm pts are evaced or pinned.
I use armor to clear to east and have infanrty start digging in a line 6 deep of level 2 forts by turn 10 easyly at this rate of advance.

Kinda boring so far with new red tactics of evac and run.

I send 7 to 10 infantry divisions and 4 pz to Moscow area as soon as this front becomes as dead as Leningrad front.
