One quick question....

Does anyone know if land units gain XP from coming under naval bombardment? I think naval units gain XP from doing it?

One more question:

Like say a ship has an upgrade in Jun 42, and another in Aug 43. If I do not upgrade it in Jun 42, can I go straight to the Aug 43 upgrade and skip the downtime of Jun 42?

as for upgrades - the upgrade time for the "missed" upgrade will be added to the current upgrade - so no... to my knowledge you CANNOT skip an upgrade and go right ahead to the next one..

I skip upgrades all the time for a variety of reasons. When the time for the next upgrade occurs and upgrade is turned on, both will be done. However, the time in port will be more than either of the individual upgrades but less then the time for both upgrades added together.

I believe any time an LCU comes under fire, it has a chance to gain XP. I know an artillery bombardment will provide that chance (for little in return).
