I have a JAAF Bn that I want to buy back, but I can't figure out how to actually do it. I went to the destroyed LCU screen and found the unit, but I don't see any buttons related to buying the unit back. Is there some kind of delay? The unit was just destroyed in my last turn. Do I need to wait a day or two for some "buy unit back" button to appear?
It's a 2-step process. I think you need to wait for the next turn, but not sure.
Open the display under the 'I' key. Destroyed units are displayed. White are not re-buildable, yellow are. Left-click on a yellow unit and a reading of the initial re-build formation will show. It will be cadre only, very small, few devices. Click exit and go back to the display. Now it will show the delay in days. To re-activate RIGHT-CLICK the unit name again. A dialog box will open telling you where the unit will appear and in how many days, with a Y/N selection. Select 'Y' (I use the keyboard as sometimes 'Y' and 'N' don't "hook" in AE from the mouse) and the LCU will appear in the LCU queue. When it shows up it will need to re-build TOE as it would if its losses had been from combat, and will need supply as well as devices available to do so.
