City Names

Is there a way to toggle on the names of cities and victory locations so that they show on the map?

PG didn't have this but it would be nice imo. Helps with the immersion factor/navigating the map etc.

We were afraid that in some cases this would create a lot of visual clutter. For example, London consists of many hexes, and each has name "London" assigned to it. Do we really want every string to show up on the map?

Any ideas how to do this in a good way are welcome.

In the Editor, add a function that let the designer decide which name(s) will display on the map.
BTW, what is the max map size? The editor crashes when you enter a random large number like 999.

Thanks

Names over locations would be great. In London case maybe one one has? I'm not sure but would definitely help immersion. I didn't even realize I was conquering capital of Belgium till I started wondering "why so many good units here".

Good for the story.

p.s. maybe allow custom offsets for a name. So one london hex gets a name but the offset places it across all 3 hexes (haven't seen map yet).
Or maybe name the parts of london different "Docks","South London" , "Thames"

When you scroll you mouse over a city, the name appears on the right side of the screen on the panel above the unit identifier area. It's small, but its there.
